With the expertise of our technical team and the production process, we guarantee our fabrics meet the highest standards for their intended applications.

Weaving our fabrics in our own UK mill gives us the flexibility to implement changes at any stage of production, allowing us to maintain full control over the fabric’s quality throughout the process and uphold our exceptionally high standards.

Our group dyers and finishers are widely recognised as industry leaders. Their advanced machinery is operated by skilled professionals, drawing on generations of dyeing expertise dating back to 1947. The technically advanced dyehouse employs the latest Datacolor matching equipment, ensuring precise colour matching of our yarns time after time, and guaranteeing consistent colour accuracy.

The final stage of production takes place at our in-house finishing facility, where we specialise in finishing fabrics for the apparel and furnishing sectors. Using a blend of traditional and modern techniques, we apply a range of treatments to ensure the highest quality finish on every fabric.

Our fabrics undergo rigorous testing to ensure compliance with various flame retardancy standards, including BS5852: Part 1 (Cigarette and Match) and BS5852: Part 2 (Crib 5). We also assess their durability using the industry-standard Martindale Rub method. Each product page features a full fabric specification, outlining the relevant standards for that particular fabric.

Additionally, our fabrics can be treated with advanced finishes to enhance their lifespan and performance. One such treatment is Nanosphere, which enables fabrics to be easily wiped clean after spills, helping them maintain a fresh appearance for longer. This technology prevents liquids and stains from penetrating the fabric, making maintenance straightforward and efficient.
