The group is formed by people with a real working knowledge and passion for textiles.

Through our fibres division we have direct access to the finest raw materials sourced from around the world, creating relationships with trusted partners whose values align to our own, ensuring sustainability and traceability through to entire chain. The Yarns are sourced from within the group and come with an assurance of quality having been put through our own in – house testing facility, the expertise of the team from the technical perspective and the wider production process ensures our yarns are fit for purpose, what ever their final use.

Our group yarn dyers are widely recognised as a market leader, their high-tech machines are attended to by experience operators who draw on generations of dying expertise dating back to 1947 technically advanced dyehouse which uses the latest Datacolour matching equipment, this enables us to scrupulously colour match our yarns time, after time ensuring colour consistency

Weaving our fabrics in our own UK mills provides us with the flexibility to make changes at any point and enables us to control and check the fabric quality throughout production to maintain our exceptionally high standards. 

The final process on our fabric production takes place at our in-house finishers who specialise in dyeing and finishing fine quality fabrics for the apparel and furnishing sectors. Fabrics are milled and go through the finishing process using both traditional, and modern techniques, along with creating and applying the various treatment finishes to our fabric.


Our fabrics go through rigorous testing to ensure they meet various flame retardancy standards, including BS5852: Part 1, (Cigarette and Match), and BS5852: Part 2, (Crib 5). Our fabrics are assessed for durability using the industry standard Martindale Rub method. A full fabric specification is on each product page, detailing the specific standards to that fabric.

All our fabrics may have further treatments applied to them to maximise and extend their lifespan. Our treatments include Nanosphere, allowing the fabric to be wiped clean upon spillages. Teflon which acts as a stain repellent, and Anti-microbial treatment to stop bacteria forming and spreading.
